We are proud at Alsager School that all students in year 8–13 have now had a Dementia Friendly Information Session and have become Dementia Friends. Kath Reader and John Poulson from Alsager Partnership and Dementia Friends ran the final Session to our year 12 students. The students learnt about what it is like to live with dementia and how they can help and support people in their family or the wider community. This is part Alsager Partnership’s pledge to work towards making Alsager a Dementia Friendly Town.
